I am Catholic because

Why am I Catholic? The easy answer is because of my wife and kids. But the real answer is because I want to be Catholic. I had a choice. As a youngster, I was raised Baptist, but when I met my wife and we had kids, it was time for me to make a choice. Do I want to be Catholic? After going to mass with my wife for many years, I felt that I was missing something. I did not participate in the full mass - I was not receiving the Body of Christ. That was what was missing. I am Catholic because I want to be.

Why do I stay Catholic? It is a way of life for me. My whole life involves around me being Catholic. I would be lost without being Catholic.
